Opinion: Preparing For The Next Lockdown

by Janet Pattison

BAY COUNTY – At the end of 2019, we heard about a flu outbreak in China that was showing up around the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) declares a public world health emergency. In February of 2020 the world starts to react with restricting air travel. The United States declares a National Emergency in March of 2023 to release funds to prepare for the worst.

That same month, doctors at the University of Minnesota and across the nation looked for ways to treat this mysterious virus. As we look back, we know that these early treatment efforts will be silenced as many states like California start issuing stay-at-home orders, and news agencies report government statistics of infections and death. Families were separated, people went to the hospital to be put on ventilators with very little treatment and the news kept America apprised of the death toll.

Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, steroids, vitamin D, vitamin C, zinc, monoclonal antibodies and others were being used by local independent physicians; but the news reported more infections and deaths.

Doctors with proven early treatment were banning together in the Front Line COVID Critical Care Alliance with the numbers of people being treated and recovering from COVID around the world, but the news reported more infections and deaths.

When a vaccine was rolled out at the end of 2020, the news reported the need to get the shot, but did not report the adverse reactions seen in the vaccine trials. Now in 2023, the list of adverse reactions is long and the coverup has come out in government documents that have been released. Yet, the COVID vaccine is still promoted by the Center for Disease Control.

What will protect us from the next Pandemic as more government funded clinics have popped up throughout the state of Florida?

The Health Freedom Bill of Rights was recently passed and adopted by Collier County.

“A resolution that says the county will protect individual liberties in case something similar to another pandemic hits in the future passed 4-1 with Commissioner Burt Saunders casting the only dissenting vote.” Naplesnews.com 4/12/23 Health Freedom ordinance gets unanimous approval in Collier County

Dr. Avery Brinkley is a local physician and member of the Florida Medical Freedom Coalition. He worked on this Health Freedom Bill of Rights and has been working with other leaders in the community to ensure that lockdowns and restriction of treatment does not happen in Bay County when the next pandemic or emergency is declared.
