New PCB Mayor and 2 Council Members Sworn In
PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL. - Results of the April 16 election were certified by the Mayor and City Council during their regular meeting Thursday, April 25 before a standing-room only crowd.
Newly elected officials are: Ward 4 Councilman Michael Jarman, Mayor Stuart Tettemer, and Ward 2 Councilman Ethan Register. Mayor Tettemer is the City's eighth mayor. Councilman Jarman was elected for his second 4-year term and ran unopposed. Councilman Register also ran unopposed and replaces outgoing Councilman Phil Chester, who served two terms. All elected officials in Panama City Beach are voted on at-large. The City has a term limit of two terms. Congratulations, gentlemen!
Stuart Tettemer was sworn in as the City's eighth mayor on Thursday by his pastor, the Rev. Derrick Bennett of The Ark Church.
Ward 4 Councilman Michael Jarman was re-elected to a second four-year term and was given the oath of office by his father, Lee Jarman.
Ethan Register was sworn in as Ward 2 Councilman by his father, Scott Register, and his daughter, Addelyn.
