Squirrels Revenge Golf Tournament February 10th – Panama Country Club – Lynn Haven

Once upon a time, in the lush green landscape of the Panama County Club in Lynn Haven, a mischievous fox squirrel named Sammy called the golf course his home. Sammy was known for his love of pine trees, particularly the towering ones that lined the fairways. Life was peaceful until Hurricane Michael swept through, taking al of his beloved pine trees..
Sammy's beloved pine trees were uprooted, leaving the squirrel furious. Consumed by rage, he decided to take revenge on the golf course and its human inhabitants. Determined to make them feel his loss, Sammy began a campaign of mischief.
The first sign of his vendetta was the mysterious relocation of tees and holes to the most challenging spots on the course. Golfers were perplexed as they faced unexpected obstacles, and their once-familiar game turned into a challenging adventure. Rumors spread among the golfers about a vengeful squirrel, but many dismissed it as mere superstition.
However, Sammy wasn't done. He wanted to make a statement, and what better way than organizing an event to showcase the difficulty he had introduced? The Squirrels Revenge tournament was announced and has taken place each year since the storm. The next tournament is set to take place on February 10, 2024, at the Panama County Club.
Golfers are invited to join the 9 am shotgun start, with an entry fee of $150 per person for 3-person teams. The day promises excitement, with grab-and-go breakfast, lunch, and awards following play. But Sammy had more tricks up his furry sleeves – $10 mulligans (max 2 per person), a $30 per team skins game, and a tempting $20 50/50 pot.
For an added challenge, Sammy introduced the Tee by Age category, assigning tee colors based on the golfers' ages. The Blue Tees were for those under 50, White Tees for ages 50-64, Gold Tees for ages 65-72, Silver Tees for ages 73-78, and the Red Tees for golfers aged 79 and up.
As the tournament date approaches, the golfers brace themselves for an unforgettable experience, not realizing that they were about to participate in Sammy's revenge. Sign up today by contacting Panama County Club! proshop@panamacountryclub.com (850) 265-3055
