What if you could give back to the community every Wednesday? - The She Shack

by Janet Pattison

LYNN HAVEN, FL - What if you could give back to the community every Wednesday? Tina Joyner, owner of the She Shack in Lynn Haven, found a way!

The She Shack is a gift store and lady’s boutique located at 529 Ohio Ave., Lynn Haven. “Customers would ask me for donations for their organizations and I wanted to find a way to give back to the community.” Tina explained. From this need, Giving Wednesdays was created where 10% of all sales go your community organization. Southport Thunder All Star Team, Dean Bozeman Beta Club, Elevate Bay mentoring, North Bay Have Blue Diamond Dancers are a few community organizations that have taken part in Giving Wednesdays. How does the fundraiser work? The She Shack has a loyal customer base and Tina markets her events on social media and through the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. Organizations also publicize the event to friends and family who agree to come by the shop on the designated day. Today you can visit the store in person or online to support with your purchase: Vernon High School Cheer and next Wednesday Aug 23rd Lavished Ministries (restoring women in Bay County who are caught up in the sex industry.)
