I AM A CHRISTIAN. I AM AN AMERICAN

I am a Christian and a citizen of the United States of America. 
I have responsibilities to my Lord, and 
I also have responsibilities to my country.
I AM A CHRISTIAN.
1. It is my duty to render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s. (Matthew 22:21)
2. It is my duty to render unto God what is God’s. (Matthew 22:21)
3. It is my duty to pray for my nation and for those in authority so we may have peace and tranquility.

I AM AN AMERICAN.

1. It is my duty to love my country.
2. It is my duty to support the Constitution of the United States of America.
3. It is my duty to obey the laws of our country.
4. It is my duty to respect the flag of the United States of America.
5. It is my duty to defend my country against all enemies.

After the formation of our great nation, Patrick Henry said, “The distinctions of being Virginian,
Pennsylvanians, New Yorkers, or New Englanders are no more. I am an American.”
I am a Christian. I am an American. I challenge you to be a faithful Christian and a patriotic American.
