Veteran Support Organizations Welcome 200 Cadets

The 200 cadets who traveled through Panama City’s airport on Saturday, December 15th, did not go away hungry! The Military Welcome Center had 7 dozen homemade cookies, candy, 25 pounds of chips and snack crackers, 90 bottles of water and 42 pounds of apples, bananas and mandarin oranges, donated by VFW Post 8205 Auxiliary members. AMVETS Post 2298 donated 80 sausage biscuits and 50 hotdogs. Mission BBQ donated lunch for 75. About 100 of the cadets will be traveling back through our airport on January 2nd. Thank you, Panama City, for showing these active duty men and women that we appreciate their service!
