BAY COUNTY, FL – A LETTER TO BAY COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD COMMISSIONER, JERRY REGISTER:
Good Morning, Commissioner Jerry Register! First, a very Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Down to business: Please advise me of the procedure to include, in Bay County School District’s Elementary, Junior High, and High Schools, proper and full education regarding the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of the United States.
We'll need to teach the important laws, also, such as the Oath of Office law, the first law passed by the first Congress, the first Congressional act to be signed into law by the first President of the United States, George Washington; and the Coinage act stipulating what America is required to use for money, why it is important, and reasons why the Constitution and many of our just and important laws are being violated.
You've heard me ask about how to do this in School Board meetings, more than once, I'm sure.
Our children, the generation which will be affected the worst by government's lack of Constitutional understanding and enforcement, need to know how our Constitution works, why it works that way, why it is necessary to know our Constitution and enforce it, and how far our laws have been diverted from it. At least as much time should be spent on teaching the Constitution as is spent on teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic. As the Supreme Law of our Land, it should be as important to teach as all the other disciplines combined.
It would be great to include this Constitutional education in the fall 2026 curriculum of BCSD!
So, if you can please outline the procedure to initiate this course of study into Bay County Public Schools, I would appreciate it! I can supply you with a good, truthful Constitution and Declaration of Independence curriculum. It is well organized and teacher and classroom friendly.
If there is someone else that I should contact, please provide their name, title of employment, the department in which they serve, email address and phone number.
If we want a Constitutional country, we must learn the Constitution and teach it to our children! We must teach our children to be responsibly Constitutional. As I'm sure you know, it's not just a law, it is freedom, it is our way of life. Being self-dependent and respectful of others is a very pleasing advantage of following our Constitution. The Preamble to the Constitution promises that, If we live and enforce our Constitution, we will experience" … a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity."
Why wouldn't we want to respect and enforce our Constitution? We must get a Constitutional curriculum into our schools!
And may God be with you and your family, not just this Christmas season, but the whole year round!
