PARKER, FL - On Saturday, December 13, 2025, VFW Post 8205 in Parker, Florida, transformed into a place of pure holiday magic, laughter, and community pride during a Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus that will be remembered for years to come.
Families from across the community gathered early for a pancake and waffle breakfast, where children were invited to build and decorate their own pancakes and waffles – turning breakfast into an experience filled with creativity, joy, and smiling faces. The room buzzed with excitement as kids proudly showed off their creations while parents, veterans, and volunteers shared in the moment.
The heart of the event was the arrival of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, who greeted every child with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Together, they spent time with each child, listening to Christmas wishes, sharing laughs, and creating memories that went far beyond the holiday season. Mrs. Claus added her own special touch – bringing warmth, cheer, and a welcoming presence that made every family feel at home.
This outstanding event was orchestrated by the VFW Post 8205 Auxiliary, whose dedication and planning made the morning seamless and welcoming. They were supported by VFW members and the VFW Riders, who worked side by side to ensure everything ran smoothly—from preparation to service to cleanup. Their teamwork reflected the strength and unity that define the VFW family.
More than just a holiday gathering, Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus highlighted the powerful impact the VFW, VFW Auxiliary, and VFW Riders continue to have on our community. These organizations don’t just serve veterans – they build bridges between generations, create safe and joyful spaces for families, and remind the community that veterans remain committed to service long after their military careers end.
For the children, it was a morning of magic.
For the families, it was a moment of connection.
For the veterans, it was a reminder that service takes many forms – and that community is one of the strongest missions of all.
VFW Post 8205 is proud to serve Parker, Florida, and events like this stand as a powerful example of what happens when veterans, families, and community come together with purpose and heart.
