Opinion: Can’t Exist With “COEXIST” Bumper Stickers

One thing I cannot coexist with is “COEXIST” bumper stickers. They're usually found on eco-friendly, green cars, right next to old Obama, Biden and Kamala stickers. 

Let’s examine the letters of the acronym. Each letter/symbol represents a religious or cultural symbol: C (cresent moon and star) often represents Islam; O (international peace sign) represents peace and harmony; E (male/female symbol) represents equality of genders or LBTQ+; X (Star of David) represents Judaism; I (symbol over I is a pentacle or pentagram) represents Wicca/Paganism; S (Yin-Yang symbol) represents balance or Taoism/Confucianism; T (Latin cross) represents Christianity.

This liberal slogan, COEXIST calls for living together without working for the destruction of each other but can all these groups realistically ever do this? 

C (Islam) wants to eliminate E (LBTQ+), X (Judaism), T (Taoism/Confucianism), and O (peace). If they achieve what they want in the world, I (Wicca/Paganism) and S (balance) will no longer exist. 

O (peace) has no effective way of resisting or defeating C (Islam).

E (LBTQ+) stands in direct opposition to C (Islam), X (Judaism) and T (Taoism/Confucianism), and accuses them of hate speech. 

X (Judaism) is threatened by C (Islam) while O (peace) indirectly supports C (Islam) over X Judaism). 

I (Wicca/Paganism) and S (Taoism/Confucianism) are statistically insignificant and are there to complete the bumper sticker. 

T (Christianity) poses no physical threat to any of the others.

“But the reality is that it's the first of the symbols that has a problem with 'co-existence.' Take the cresent out of the equation and you wouldn't need a bumper sticker at all. Indeed, co-existence is what the Islamists are at war with,” says columnist Mark Steyn.

For example, the grand mufti of Saudi Arabia declared it “necessary to destroy all the churches of the region.” However, when Sheik Abdullah declared it necessary to destroy all the churches in the region, he did not include his nation, because there are no churches there to destroy.

Unbelievably, liberals plead for coexistence in the country where it is actually safe to do so. Why don't they send their bumper stickers to Saudia Arabia, Afghanistan, Yemen, Egypt, Iran, Cuba, North Korea or China? Those countries actually need them.

There has been as much world peace achieved by Miss America platitudes.

I prefer bumper stickers which read USMC, USN, USAF and U.S. ARMY. At least these have fought wars which have won our nation, and many others, the freedom to coexist.

George Orwell said, “We sleep safely in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.” The lamb shall one day lie down with the lion, but he better not attempt that form of coexistence now!
