Committee Weeks Continue In Florida Legislature

TALLAHASSEE, FL – The Florida Legislature is moving forward with its legislative work as they complete the second of the six scheduled committee weeks ahead of the 2026 legislative session. Lawmakers are back in Tallahassee this week for another round of committee meetings.

So far, 312 bills have been filed, covering issues such as election integrity, property taxes, medical freedom, education, parental rights, land use, second amendment rights and immigration.
