2025 Walk To End Alzheimer’s Coming To Panama City
PANAMA CITY, FL – On Sunday, November 2nd, residents from Panama City will join together at FSU Panama City, 4750 Collegiate Drive, for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
On Walk Day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementia like Brook Batson, who helps care for her father-in-law living with Alzheimer’s, and Ann Wunder, whose husband is living with younger-onset Alzheimer’s. In Florida, over 580,000 people are living with the disease, supported by more than 870,000 unpaid caregivers.
The event begins at 2 pm, with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — where participants will carry flowers of various colors that represent their personal connection to the disease. The ceremony begins at 3 pm, walk to immediately follow.
