Bobby Birdsell Selected To Serve As City Of Callaway Commissioner, Ward I
CALLAWAY, FL – Bobby J Birdsell II was selected at the City of Callaway Commission meeting to fill the vacant commissioner position in Ward 1 until the end of the unexpired term in November of 2026.
He is a retired U.S. Air Force Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, current Government Security Officer, and charge paramedic, which, in his words, “gave him extensive experience in leadership, public safety, and managing complex operations with fiscal responsibility.”
He is actively engaged in the community as a church deacon, high school band booster, and former youth baseball assistant coach. He stated, “These roles reflect my dedication to strengthening families, supporting youth, and fostering community partnerships. As commissioner, I will work to ensure responsible governance, safeguarding taxpayer resources, and representing the interests of Ward I residents.”
