BAY COUNTY, FL – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Winn-Dixie is proudly continuing its long-standing partnership with the American Cancer Society by launching its annual in-store donation program to help save lives and uplift communities.

From October 1–28, customers in the Bay County area can make a difference by donating $1, $5 or simply rounding up their grocery bill at their neighborhood Winn-Dixie. Community donations will directly support groundbreaking research and vital resources for patients and their families.

According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer accounts for 1 in 3 of all new female cancers, with an estimated 316,950 invasive breast cancer diagnoses in 2025 alone. For 17 years, Winn-Dixie has partnered with the American Cancer Society, raising nearly $1.9 million to advance the fight against breast cancer. The grocer is deeply rooted in the communities it serves and is passionate about caring for the health and well-being of its neighbors.
