Lane Closures On U.S. 98 Between Oak Shore Drive And The DuPont Bridge Sunday Through Saturday

PANAMA CITY, FL - Drivers may encounter intermittent and alternating lane closures on U.S. 98 between Oak Shore Drive and the DuPont Bridge Sunday, Sept. 28 through Saturday, Oct. 4 for utility relocation work. In addition, the westbound right turn lane onto Oak Shore Drive is temporarily closed as crews perform utility relocation work.
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
The speed limit on this section of U.S. 98 is reduced to 35 mph and provisions are in place to double speeding fines for citations issued while workers are present.
