Lane Closures On U.S. 98 Between Oak Shore Drive And The DuPont Bridge This Week

PANAMA CITY, FL – Drivers may encounter intermittent and alternating lane closures on U.S. 98 between Oak Shore Drive and the DuPont Bridge Sunday, Sept. 21 through Saturday, Sept. 27 for utility relocation work.

In addition, the westbound right turn lane onto Oak Shore Drive is temporarily closed as crews perform utility relocation work.

The speed limit on this section of U.S. 98 is reduced to 35 mph and provisions are in place to double speeding fines for citations issued while workers are present. 

The DuPont Bridge Replacement project is scheduled for completion in mid-2030.
