Bay County To Host Free Concerts In The Park And Fall Festival In October

BAY COUNTY, FL – Bay County Parks and Recreation invites the community to enjoy a month of live music, local food trucks, and family fun during the new Concerts in the Park series, highlighting three county parks throughout October. Each Saturday evening music event, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., is free to the public and designed to bring residents together while also showcasing the beauty and amenities of Bay County’s parks.

The series opens at Isaac Byrd Park with a performance by Tracy Mick. Guests can enjoy food available for purchase from Tri-R-Tips Barbecue, Ledbetter Food Truck, Beach Tacos, and PCB Pirate Coffee. Restroom facilities will be provided by Parrish Portable Toilets, including an eight-stall restroom trailer and a handicapped-accessible unit.

The music continues the following weekend at Simmons Park, where the Grace and Grit Band will take the stage. Food trucks on site will include Smokin’ Butts BBQ, Beach Tacos, and Ledbetter Food Truck, with a beverage vendor to be confirmed. Parrish Portable Toilets will provide a 10-stall trailer, and the park’s permanent handicapped-accessible restrooms will also be available.

The series concludes with Bay County’s beloved Fall Festival at H.G. Harder’s Park, featuring the Greenhead Band in concert from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The festival runs from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with activities for all ages, including a maze, pumpkin patch, face painting, a children’s costume contest, and inflatables. Food vendors include Tri-R-Tips Barbecue, Smokin’ Butts BBQ, Beach Tacos and Thai Me Now, with more to be added. Restroom facilities will be provided by Parrish Portable Toilets, alongside the park’s permanent handicapped-accessible restrooms.
“This series was created to showcase our parks while giving families a reason to come out and enjoy them together,” Bay County Commissioner Daniel Raffield, who first proposed the concerts, said. “Music, food, and community go hand in hand, and I’m excited to see our parks come alive with energy and entertainment this October.”
