Javylon Wilson And Shamone Johnson Arrested For Trafficking Fentanyl

BAY COUNTY, FL – September 4th, 2025 – Bay County Sheriff, Tommy Ford, announced the arrest of two suspects on Drug Trafficking charges at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation by the Special Investigations Division (SID).
With the assistance of BCSO Criminal Investigations and the Warrants Division, SID investigators served a search warrant at 3896 Sand Pine Way, in Panama City, on August 28, 2025. The residents of the home were Javylon Wilson, age 27, and Shamone Johnson Smith, age 28. Both were at the property when investigators arrived.
During the search, investigators found a bag of pressed fentanyl pills weighing approximately 101 grams, along with packaging materials consistent with the distribution of narcotics. Two firearms were also located and seized. Wilson and Smith were both arrested and booked into the Bay County Jail for Trafficking Fentanyl more than 28 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
