Fall In Love Pet Adoption Event Now
BAY COUNTY, FL – Bay County Animal Control invites the public to help celebrate the changing season and National Dog Day on Aug. 26 with its “Fall in Love” adoption event, happening now through Saturday, Sept. 6. The event features $10 adoption fees for all dogs, puppies and cats at the shelter.
“With National Dog Day on Aug. 26 and the hope of cooler weather ahead, we’re excited to help these wonderful pets find warm, loving homes,” said Serina Junger, Bay County Animal Control Division manager. “This event is all about giving pets the second chance they deserve while making room for new arrivals during the busy back-to-school season.”
The adoption special applies to all pets available at the shelter, located at 6401 Bay Line Drive, Panama City, FL 32404. Each adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, and vaccinations. Interested adopters are encouraged to stop by during regular business hours to meet the animals. The shelter is closed Wednesdays and Sundays and daily from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch.
With playful puppies, sweet kittens, and loyal adult dogs all waiting for homes, now is the perfect time to adopt and “fall in love” with your new best friend and to adopt while also helping reduce the shelter’s population.
