Panama City Man Arrested For Burglary Assault

PANAMA CITY, FL – August 17th, 2025 – Panama City police arrested Christopher Tice early this morning following a burglary and battery incident on W. 10th St. Tice allegedly forced his way into a former acquaintance's home, assaulted an occupant with a firearm, threatened others, and damaged property before fleeing in his Ford F250.
The vehicle was later found abandoned near Landmark Condominiums. Detectives discovered Tice had escaped via Watson Bayou on a catamaran. With help from the Coast Guard, FWC, and U.S. Marshals, the Panama City Police Department (PCPD) Marine Unit apprehended Tice near Shell Island without incident.
He faces charges including aggravated assault, armed burglary with battery, criminal mischief, and aggravated battery. Police emphasize this was an isolated incident with no further threat to the community. The PCPD thanks all assisting agencies for their help in the safe apprehension of Tice.
