House Fire Believed Domestic Violence Related

BAY COUNTY, FL - The Bay County Sheriff’s Office has responded along with Bay County Fire Rescue to the scene of a house fire this morning on Bingoose Lane in Bay County. The 911 caller reported hearing an explosion in the home.

Preliminary information indicates this may be a domestic violence related incident and that the fire was set intentionally. One suspect was identified and was located on Hwy 77. A traffic stop was conducted. The suspect had to be taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. It is not believed that anyone was home at the time of the fire.
