Lickin Chicken Clucks Its Way to 2 Years in Bay County—And They’re Still Fryin’ High!

by Janet Pattison

PANAMA CITY, FL – Lickin Chicken, a popular restaurant chain known for its crispy fried chicken and southern comfort food, is celebrating its second anniversary in Bay County. Owners Ellen and Donnie Corsino, who previously ran the Georgia-based chain for 30 years, opened their Panama City location after recognizing a need for more local dining options in the wake of Hurricane Michael.
The Corsinos moved to Bay County three years ago, drawn by the sun, surf, and welcoming community. Leaving their Georgia location in the hands of their son, they soon realized that the region could benefit from Lickin Chicken’s signature menu. The decision to open their Panama City restaurant proved to be a success, quickly gaining a loyal customer base.
Known for its crispy chicken tenders, flavorful wings, and generous portions, Lickin Chicken has become a local favorite. The restaurant’s commitment to quality and bold flavors keeps customers coming back for more. One satisfied patron, Charlie H., shared on Facebook, “First time and I will return often! Mannn, them lemon pepper and garlic parm wings were amazing! My daughter and I devoured them. They don’t short you on the fries either! Definitely my go-to for wings now!”
To celebrate their milestone, Lickin Chicken will be hosting a special event on April 29th in collaboration with the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. The event will celebrate 2 years under their ownership and be an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy the flavors that have made the restaurant a success.
With roots in Georgia and a growing presence in Florida, Lickin Chicken continues to satisfy cravings with its signature comfort food.  Ellen and Donnie Corsino are grateful for the support of their customers and excited for the future.
