PANAMA CITY, FL – Bay County Animal Control is celebrating spring with an opportunity for residents to find their next furry family member at a discounted rate. The “Spring Cleaning” Adoption Event is now under way, running through May 3, and features $10 adoption fees for all dogs, puppies and cats at the shelter.

“We are blooming with excitement to offer the animals we have ready for loving homes,” Serena Junger, Bay County Animal Control Division manager. “This event is all about giving these pets a loving home and helping the shelter make room for incoming animals as we head into a busy season.”
The adoption special applies to all pets available at the shelter, which is located at 6401 Bay Line Drive, Panama City, FL 32404. Each adoption includes spaying/neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations. Interested adopters are encouraged to visit the shelter during business hours to meet the available pets. The shelter is closed to the public Wednesday and Sunday.
With playful puppies, sweet kittens and cats and loyal adult dogs all waiting for a home, now is the perfect time to adopt while also helping “clean house” at the shelter.
