Join the Magic: Casting Call for The Nutcracker 2025 with Panama City Ballet

BAY COUNTY, FL - The Panama City Ballet is thrilled to announce its casting call for The Nutcracker 2025, inviting dancers to be part of a cherished holiday tradition. Registration is open now - visit www.panamacityballet.com to secure your spot.

Auditions will take place over two weekends: August 15-17 and August 22-24, giving dancers ample opportunity to showcase their talent. Rehearsals kick off on Sunday, September 7, and will continue every Sunday (except November 30) through December 7. Once the production moves to the theater on December 7, rehearsals will occur daily that week, culminating in a special rehearsal with the orchestra on Wednesday, December 10.

Performances are scheduled to delight audiences of all ages. A special invited audience performance will take place on Thursday, December 11 at 6 p.m., followed by a school show on Friday, December 12 at 10 a.m. Public performances will run from December 12-14, bringing the magic of The Nutcracker to the Panama City community. To ensure younger dancers are well-rested, the schedule for those aged 5-7 has been adjusted with reduced times compared to last year.
