Government Street Digs Deep: Panama City Drivers Navigate Maze for a Month

PANAMA CITY, FL - DOWNTOWN - Government Street from Luverne Avenue to Harrison Avenue will be closed for approximately one month due to the next stage of work for the infrastructure project Area O-11 in Downtown Panama City, which involves a full utilities excavation. 

Traffic will be diverted one block off Government Street through the marina parking lot during this time. Signage and flaggers will be present to help direct traffic safely through the detour. 

New traffic patterns and adjusted access routes will be in place for both the Towers parking lot and the spillover parking along Government Street. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time, follow all posted signs, and adhere to flagger instructions to ensure everyone's safety.
