Multi-Talented Panama City Symphony Guest Artist, Didi Stone, Pleases Audience
PANAMA CITY, FL - The Panama City Symphony concluded its 2024-25 Season on April 12th with an unforgettable performance by the Emerging Artists Competition Grand Prize Winner, High School Division, Didi Stone, performing the first movement of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.
Didi began his musical journey on the violin at age 5, discovering his passion for orchestra in middle school and is currently a freshman at the Schwob School of Music at Columbia State University, pursuing his bachelor’s degree in violin performance. He comes from a musical family, with his mother being a pianist and music educator, and his father a guitarist and singer-songwriter.
Didi also loves to perform solo and chamber music. He discovered his talent for singing at age 10 and performed at various events in China and in the U.S.
When not performing, Didi enjoys working out at a gym, playing tennis and solving a Rubik’s cube.
