28th Annual Cops 'N Kids Event Promises Family Fun and Community Engagement
PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL - The Panama City Beach Police Department is gearing up for the 28th Annual Cops 'N Kids event, a highly anticipated community gathering scheduled for Saturday, November 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Aaron Bessant Park.
Sponsored by the police department, this event serves as a remarkable platform for residents and visitors alike to connect with local law enforcement, fostering positive relationships between the community and those who serve and protect. Attendees will have the opportunity to get an up-close look at a variety of first responder and military equipment, including specialized vehicles, helicopters, boats, and a roll-over simulator.
The festivities don't stop there; the event promises an array of exciting activities and attractions. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., attendees can enjoy complimentary food, snag free T-shirts (while supplies last), and participate in raffles for a chance to win one of the ten bicycles up for grabs. The Breakfast Point Jazz Band will entertain the crowd with lively performances from 12:10 to 1 p.m.
Families can capture lasting memories at the photo booth, and McGruff the Crime Dog will be making a special appearance, offering both fun and educational moments for the younger attendees. Moreover, the Child ID program will be on-site, providing a valuable service for parents.
For those interested who love the K9s, the Police Department and Tyndall Air Force Base K9s will showcase their talents with live demonstrations on the main stage from 11 a.m. to noon.
