Man Rushed to Local Hospital After Mauled by Dog

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL - The Bay County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence at 8115 Laird St on February 4, 2025 in Panama City Beach. A 911 call had reported a man had been seriously injured by a large dog.

Deputies responded. EMS has transported the man with life threatening injuries to a local hospital. 

The owner of the aggressive dog was arrested by deputies for resisting deputies and Animal Control officers. He was charged with Resisting Officers/Obstruction Without Violence. 

The dog is in the possession of Animal Control.
