Bay County Budget Summary, Annual Report Available Online

PANAMA CITY, FL – The Bay County Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Summary and the Fiscal Year 2024 Annual Report are now available to view on the county’s website, www.baycountyfl.gov 

The Budget Summary aims to assist the public in understanding the budget adopted by the Bay County Board of County Commissioners for the current fiscal year, which runs Oct. 1, 2024 to Sep. 30, 2025. This is the second year the document has been published entirely online, helping the county provide budgetary information to the public more quickly, efficiently and frugally.

“Our intention with this publication is to succinctly and concisely communicate where the revenue that funds our services comes from and how it is expended,” Bay County Deputy County Manager Joel Schubert said.  “The budgeting process is always challenging, and we continually strive to ensure that we are diligent stewards of taxpayers’ dollars.”

The 2024 Annual Report aims to highlight our accomplishments throughout the previous fiscal year, which ran from Oct. 1, 2023 to Sept. 30, 2024. The goal is to provide readers with a snapshot of how each department and division of county government works daily with the common goal of bettering our community.

“I am proud of the job our staff does to make our community a wonderful place to live, work, and visit,” Schubert said. “Our doors are always open to the public, and we welcome input and feedback about how we can do and be better for the people of Bay County.”
