LYNN HAVEN, FL - Get ready for a ghoulishly good time as the City of Lynn Haven gears up to host its Annual Halloween Carnival and Trunk or Treat event. On Tuesday, October 31st, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM, Sharon Sheffield Park, nestled at 901 Ohio Avenue, will transform into a Halloween haunt where families can come together for a night of fun, food, and, of course, a whole lot of candy.

This fantastic event is not only family-friendly but also free to the public, making it a perfect destination for all ages. Lynn Haven takes pride in offering a safe space for the community to come together and enjoy Halloween traditions.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the Trunk or Treat extravaganza, where more than 30 creatively decorated trunks from around Bay County will be lined up along the park's perimeter. Children can go trick-or-treating from trunk to trunk, collecting sweet treats along the way. It's a unique and secure way for kids to enjoy this Halloween tradition.

But that's not all; the Halloween Carnival promises a plethora of activities to keep everyone entertained. Local organizations will be setting up carnival games, adding an extra layer of fun to the event. From tossing rings to knocking down cans, there will be something for every gamer in the family.

Food trucks will be on hand to satisfy those appetites worked up during all the gaming and trick-or-treating. Delicious treats will be available for purchase, ensuring that no one leaves hungry.

In the spirit of Halloween, the event will also feature exciting entertainment such as face painting, balloon artists, stilt walkers, and even axe-throwing for the brave at heart. Don't forget to capture the unforgettable moments with various photo opportunities throughout the park.

As Halloween is all about costumes, attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their spookiest, silliest, or most creative Halloween attire. It adds to the festive atmosphere and creates a fantastic visual spectacle.

With the event growing in popularity each year, Lynn Haven is expecting around 8,000 individuals to attend this year's Halloween Carnival. It's a testament to the community's enthusiasm and the event's ability to bring people together.

City Manager Vickie Gainer expressed her excitement, stating, "Our Halloween Carnival is always a family-fun night for children, friends, and neighbors of Lynn Haven to enjoy. We are excited to provide an event that highlights our community and the wonderful families who live here."

This grand celebration is made possible by the support of generous sponsors, including Dewberry Engineers, Panhandle Engineering, and Dog Academy. Their contributions help make the Halloween Carnival a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.
